Josh Radoff Bio:

As the founder and Principal of YRG sustainability consultants, Radoff brings a broad knowledge of waste reduction methods, water efficiency programs, green site and building exterior maintenance, recyclable products and renewable energy offsets to the TGHC. He has a background in sustainable energy engineering and works at the intersection of the energy, climate, and green building fields. Radoff is a regular speaker on sustainability issues and the LEED rating systems and has consulted on hundreds of sustainability projects for both public and private sector clients, nationally and internationally. Radoff was one of the founding directors of GreenHomeNYC, a resource and advocacy group for green building in New York City, and is currently a board member of the Colorado Chapter of the USGBC. He holds Masters’ degrees in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (2001) and Columbia University (1999). Radoff’s commentary on sustainability and green building has been published in the Denver Post, Boulder Daily Camera, Gotham Gazette, Solar Today, the Cooperator, and the New York Opinion.

Mike Kapalko Bio:

Mike Kapalko works to promote health and environmental responsibility with customers by taking SCA’s holistic approach to manufacturing its Tork systems and cost saving solutions. Kapalko has more than 13 years experience working in the away-from-home sanitary paper market and started his career in the commercial foodservice industry where hygiene and cross contamination are constant areas of focus.  Kapalko has appeared twice on the TV show, “Designing Spaces: Think Green” offering up his expertise in hygiene and sustainability. He is an active member of the GreenBiz Executive Network, Healthy Schools Campaign, U.S. Green Building Council, National Environmental Health Association and is a certified ServSafe® food safety training instructor. Kapalko has also been a contributing author for publications such as, Cleaning & Maintenance Management, Maintenance Sales News Magazine and Operator’s Edge.
