Michael Arny
President
Leonardo Academy

By now, many facility professions have seen the LEED acronym, and most know that is stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. But few truly understand the cost, operations and occupant benefits that a designation can bring. Through case studies, surveys and detailed data, this module provides a thorough overview of two key LEED programs: LEED for New Construction (NC) and LEED for Existing Buildings (EB). From first costs to energy use to productivity to market appeal, the presentation details just how a LEED designation can elevate the status of a building - and how to get started on certifying your own facility.
