Webinar Will Address Ways to Minimize Risk of Legionella During Construction

Nov. 20, 1014 — Taking measures to reduce the risk of Legionella during design and construction is hugely important. Such missed opportunities have resulted in many outbreaks of Legionnaires' disease.

In addition, poor design decisions can impact risk indefinitely unless costly changes are made to correct the problems.

On Dec. 10, Matt Freije will discuss 10 key Legionella preventive measures that can be taken during design, construction, and commissioning. His 60-minute webinar is titled "Preventing Legionnaires' Disease in New Buildings: Ten Key Measures During Design and Construction." Freije will take audience questions after his discussion.

The webinar begins at 8 a.m. PST.

A certificate of attendance will be available to participants who are logged in to the entire webinar.

Attendance is limited and registration is required. To register, go to www.hcinfo.com and look for the announcement near the top center of the home page.

HC Info (HC Information Resources Inc.) has been helping building owners prevent and solve Legionella problems since Freije founded the company in 1995.

The company's mission is to provide information and consulting services to protect health and life by reducing the risk of Legionella and other waterborne pathogens. It has inspected plumbing systems, cooling towers, and other water systems in hundreds of buildings and interpreted thousands of Legionella test results.
