WaterSignal: Company Surges With 170% Growth

Atlanta — March 22, 2016 — David Taylor, senior vice president of Atlanta-based WaterSignal, announced that the company installed 260 systems in 2015 — a 170 percent increase over the previous year.

While sales have been strong on the company’s home turf — Georgia, Florida, and Texas — the company also saw growth in states such as California, which has a 25 percent water-reduction mandate, as well as Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Washington D.C. Collectively, WaterSignal has over 950 systems installed in 19 states.

“From commercial buildings to multi-family apartments to large college campuses, property and facility directors share a common frustration: high water usage and costs, with little technology available to change the status quo,” Taylor said.

“From a wireless device on a water meter, our systems reads water flow in real-time and sends the data to an easy-to-use dashboard for the facility manager to measure, compare against other buildings, and even analyze use down to the hour. As a result, we are proven to save managers approximately 14 percent. With water rates rising, our system essentially pays for itself in six to eight months.”

In addition to real-time data, the WaterSignal system features instant alerts in the event of a major leak, much like an energy surge popping a circuit breaker. The alert can be sent to both a computer and smartphone, and can be customized for business hours as well as after hours and weekends.

WaterSignal is located in Alpharetta, Ga., with operations in 19 states. For more information, visit www.watersignal.com.
