Vytec Continues Growth with New Profiles and Colors

Valley Forge, Pa. — March 25, 2015 — Vytec kicked off 2015 with expectations for continued growth in the marketplace, thanks to recent vinyl siding product line updates and an enhanced color offering unveiled this year.

These much-anticipated upgrades round out the company’s growing product line, giving building professionals and homeowners more options to customize their projects.

"This past year we’ve introduced new profiles, accessories, and colors to our long-standing line of high-value vinyl siding," said Robert Clark, marketing manager for Vytec Siding. "Thanks to these updates, Vytec is now a complete product line delivering enduring performance and style supported by a modern and consistent color palette."

Vytec has added five new color options – White, Maplewood, Natural Sand, Rustic Clay and Musket Brown – to its line of siding and accessories. The company also migrated many colors to an enhanced capstock to ensure that the colors remain vibrant against the elements.

This color migration further simplifies material selection for building professionals, as colors are now consistent across all key product families, alleviating color confusion when matching product to product. With these improvements, Vytec’s color palette is among the most robust in the industry.

This introduction of new colors, as well as accessories, for Vytec vinyl siding comes on the heels of another product line expansion that introduced three new profiles – board and batten siding, Bayside Beaded semi-beaded panel, and a beaded porch panel. These complementary styles can easily be mixed and matched with other Vytec siding, trim, and accessories to surround a home with beautiful, long-lasting curb appeal.

In addition, this year the company introduced a new, low-gloss natural woodgrain embossing pattern for its premium Proside product. Proside siding panels come in four profiles including double 4-inch traditional clapboard, double 4-1/2-inch traditional clapboard, double 4-1/2-inch Dutch lap, and single 8-inch traditional clapboard.

Several new accessories have also been added to the Vytec line, including a 1/2-inch J-Channel and 1/2-inch H-Trim. Notably, all J-channels are now offered in a consistent 1-inch face, and all accessories come in an extended 12-foot-6-inch length and lower carton quantities.

"Builders have relied upon Vytec siding for more than 50 years," Clark added. "We think building professionals and homeowners alike will be pleased with the recent additions made to the Vytec line."

All Vytec siding products and accessories come with a limited lifetime and transferable warranty, and are virtually maintenance-free and never need painting — for reliable performance and a lifetime of good looks.

All siding, soffit, and accessories have a Class A flame-spread classification and showcase leading technologies such as TruColor Protection Technology and Posilock secure locking system to reassure professionals and consumers alike they have a panel that not only performs great and is easy to work with but also looks terrific on the wall. In addition, each product meets or exceeds Vinyl Siding Institute and Underwriter's Laboratories testing requirements.
