Uponor's Control for Hydronic Snow Melt Systems

The Uponor Single-zone Snow Melt Control is a microprocessor used to control a hydronic system to melt snow and ice more effectively from exterior surfaces. This low-cost control solution provides snow and ice melting for both automatic and semi-automatic operation, using a Pavement Snow and Ice Sensor or optional Aerial Snow Sensor. (The latter perfect for retrofit applications when adding a Pavement Snow and Ice Sensor is not an option.) The control also provides an idle mode and warm-weather shutdown/cold weather cutout, as well as modulating boiler control and optional boiler protection.
