Join the USGBC - Illinois Chapter and the Green Exchange for a case study, tour and networking event at the newly opened Green Exchange!

Hear from the building owners and project team about the building's goals, challenges, lessons learned, and successes in pursuit toward a LEED Platinum status. Meet the building's current tenants while networking with green building professionals and community members. Join project team members for building tours throughout the evening.

About the Green Exchange:

The Green Exchange building is an iconic four-story 272,000 SF former factory being converted according to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum standards incorporating a wide array of efficient and aesthetically pleasing green building features and benefits. Formerly an underwear factory, and home of the renowned Cooper Lighting company, the building is one of Chicago’s historical gems. Ninety-five percent of the original building structure will be rehabilitated and maintained to preserve its charm as a historic landmark. Learn about the current tenants of the Green Exchange here!
