Transwestern: Team Completes 100th LEED Certification
Milwaukee, Wis. — May 11, 2015 — Transwestern announced that its team of sustainability experts has completed more than 100 LEED certifications.
Waterway I and II in The Woodlands, Texas, were the 100th and 101st LEED certifications, respectively, for the commercial real estate firm, which has certified more than 32.34 million square feet.
“It’s truly amazing that Transwestern has accomplished such a monumental feat,” said Al Skodowski, Transwestern’s managing senior vice president and director of LEED and Sustainability Services. “Sustainability has always been a priority to Transwestern, and the impressive track record we’ve built of more than 100 certifications is a testament to that commitment.”
The firm’s efforts have saved 317,540 tons of CO2, which is equivalent to removing 60,646 passenger vehicles from the road. For more information, visit transwestern.com.
