Trade Show Targets Commercial Cleaning Industry

Clean Buildings Expo (CBE), a new trade show for the commercial cleaning industry, makes its debut at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, MD, March 26-27, 2019. Clean Buildings Expo is a joint venture brought to market by two industry leaders: Trade Press Media Group, publishers of Contracting Profits, Facility Cleaning Decisions and Sanitary Maintenance magazines and the website CleanLink and ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association.

Designed for end-users of cleaning products and equipment, CBE fills an immediate need for education and product information in the building-rich Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states. Approximately 1,200 decision-makers in health care, education, government, and hospitality facilities, as well as building service contractors, are expected to attend the two-day event. CBE will be co-located with the National Facilities Management & Technology (NFMT) Show Baltimore, a premier event in the facilities management market owned and produced by Trade Press Media Group.

"There is an unserved need for a commercial cleaning industry event that's located in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic," says Jeff Schenk, president and CEO of Trade Press Media Group. "The location and timing of the show will appeal to many significant buyers."

"ISSA's strong relationship with cleaning equipment and technology suppliers and the success of our annual North America and other worldwide trade shows will encourage a wide variety of exhibitors to participate in this exciting new expo," says Jim Barrett, executive director of ISSA. "Exhibiting companies will include manufacturers, leading industry suppliers of floor and carpet cleaning equipment, chemicals, restroom supplies, and green cleaning products as well as leading providers of cleaning and facility-maintenance services. CBE promises to be a very synergistic event."

Clean Buildings Expo will also host a robust conference with more than 25 sessions addressing best-in-class operations, staffing and management strategies and cleaning technologies. Curated by ISSA and Trade Press's media brands Facility Cleaning Decisions, Contracting Profits, and CleanLink.com, the agenda will feature subject matter experts from a wide range of stakeholders in the cleaning industry, including building service contractors, in-house cleaning executives, industry consultants, and associations.

"At CBE, end-users can learn about the latest products and procedures to help improve their businesses and departments," says Wendy Dietzler, vice president of education withTrade Press Media Group. "By co-locating with NFMT, Clean Buildings Expo will educate building owners and facility executives alike about the cleaning innovations and trends. This sharing of knowledge will enhance the relationship between facility executives and their cleaning product and service providers."
