Tarkett Introduces New I.D. Inspiration Commercial High Performance Resilient Plank

Chagrin Falls, Ohio - Expanding on its industry-leading, comprehensive product portfolio, Tarkett, worldwide leader in innovative and sustainable flooring and sports surface solutions, introduces its I.D. Inspiration High Performance Resilient Planks collection. With dynamic design, durability and low environmental impact, I.D. Inspiration is ideal for heavy traffic commercial areas including hospitality, retail, corporate, education and healthcare, among other applications.

By combining advances in technology, imaging, embossing and finishing, I.D. Inspiration luxury flooring achieves remarkable realism. Available in 20 rich wood plank looks, which are enhanced by bevelled edges to add depth and a unique three-dimensional impact to the product, I.D. Inspiration delivers a floor design that can help turn a design vision into a reality.

Easy to install and maintain, I.D. Inspiration is a vinyl wood plank solution with an exceptionally hard-wearing reinforced polyurethane surface treatment and 28mil layer, which makes it one of the most resistant and durable luxury vinyl planks (LVP) available. The planks are 6.56” x 39.37” with a 2.5mm total thickness. Additionally, the product features a non-woven glass fiber reinforcement that helps enhance its strength. I.D. Inspiration is backed by a 10-year commercial warranty.

Tarkett promotes circular or “closed loop” design, which leads to its offering of environmentally responsible products. I.D. Inspiration contains 48 percent pre-consumer recycled content and is FloorScore® certified, contributing to good indoor air quality. The product is the first heterogeneous LVP made with TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compound) levels ≤ 10µg/m3, or below the level of quantification. I.D. Inspiration is produced in an ISO 14001 certified manufacturing plant.

I.D. Inspiration is a part of the Tarkett commercial flooring system, which includes rubber, linoleum, homogeneous and heterogeneous vinyl, stairwell solutions, finishing borders and transitions. The company’s integrated color palette runs across its full range of flooring solutions to help create efficiencies that deliver a strong return over the product’s use. Every element is designed to offer balance between people, the environment and the bottom line.
