Thermal Corkshield™ is a LEED-certified green spray-on functional building finish made from sustainable cork, available for the first time in the North Texas market.
At virtually half the price of stucco, Thermal CorkShield is an eco-friendly and budget-friendly alternative that lowers installation costs and also provides 20-30% utility cost savings, compared to stucco or paint.
The energy efficient cork used in Thermal CorkShield protects buildings against seasonal weather extremes, causing building surfaces to never get colder than 32 degrees in the winter, or hotter than 86 degrees in the summer. The finish has a Class A fire retardant rating. Because of the elastic nature of Thermal CorkShield, the surface finish will not chip away or crack. The finish is also resistant to water, mold and mildew. It comes with a 10 year standard warranty in 24 colors, with additional custom colors available.
