Clovis, Calif. — April 29, 2015 — Pelco, by Schneider Electric, announced that the company’s Digital Sentry DSSRV2 NVR product has received a Platinum Award within the Video Security Management category, from the 2015 GOVIES Government Security Awards competition.
According to competition management, an independent panel of judges from the security industry selected the top entries in the 2015 categories and named the winners based on criteria including Features, Innovation, User Friendliness, Interoperability, Quality, Design, Market Opportunity, Technical Advances, Scalability, and Impact in the Security Industry.
Specifically, the Pelco Digital Sentry NVR is recognized for its compliance with the Defense Information Assurance Risk Management Framework (DIARMF), a critical compliance for Department of Defense applications where Information Assurance is required.
“Pelco has been a strong and enthusiastic supporter of the DOD information assurance initiative for several years,” said Kevin Carpenter, Pelco senior manager for Government Enterprise Accounts. “This is a mission-critical requirement for many of our government agency customers, and we’re honored to receive this recognition.”
The GOVIES awards honor outstanding government security products in a variety of categories. They were presented during the ISC West show, April 15-17 in Las Vegas.
