Enterprise class energy management information system that empowers energy managers to apply comprehensive analysis tools to large, diverse facilities
DALLAS – – Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, today announced the availability of PowerLogicTM IONTM EEM version 4.0 R2, the enterprise energy management software that exceeds traditional boundaries of energy management and power operations software by uniting business and energy strategies across the enterprise.
PowerLogic ION EEM software is an energy data warehousing application capable of performing wide-area analysis of events and conditions, giving stakeholders from management to operations actionable energy and power reliability intelligence. Energy managers can use ION EEM software to allocate energy costs accurately across energy cost centers, uncover energy efficiency opportunities, isolate power quality and reliability problems, and drive cost and risk reduction strategies.
PowerLogic ION EEM is a unifying application that complements and extends the benefits of existing energy-related data assets. These can include power monitoring and control systems, metering systems, substation automation and SCADA systems, building and process automation systems, utility billing systems, weather services, spot-market energy pricing feeds, and enterprise business applications. Fault-tolerant algorithms ensure data quality while personalized dashboards with innovative visualization and modeling tools help accurately monitor, validate, predict and ultimately control energy-related expenses and manage risks to reliability. With a proven track record of flexibility and scalability, the industry-leading ION EEM software has a large installed base in the commercial and institutional, higher education, industry, IT and utility segments.
The latest edition of ION EEM increases the ability to integrate vast quantities of diverse data and offers a new EEM application interface providing connectivity to an advanced visualization toolkit to enable sophisticated dashboards. A revamped energy modeling engine, improvements to user workflows, new features to improve content sharing, and considerable performance enhancements all combine to make EEM v4.0 R2 essential to efficient energy and power management.
“PowerLogic ION EEM is a powerful analytics engine that brings energy management to the C-Suite. With major improvements in the platform, energy managers and executives now have the tools necessary to implement an enterprisewide and comprehensive energy and power reliability strategy,” said Pankaj Lal, offer management director for Energy Solutions, Schneider Electric.
