Redesigned LEDs and Improved Versatility


Overdrive announces the formal release of its Multi Purpose LED Retrofit (MPLR) engines, at its LightFair International Booth # 457, in Philadelphia, PA, May 21-23, 2019. The MPLR is designed for both OEM use in new fixtures, as well as retrofitting of legacy fixtures, in the field. The engines come in 16W, 19W, and 25W versions with dimmable driver on board, A/C design. MPLRs are offered with multiple mounting hardware options to insure easy installation, without having to take the fixture down to retrofit it.

According to Rajeev Perti, Vice President at Overdrive, “The MPLR is the most versatile and cost effective LED engine in the lighting industry. We’re excited to unveil new emergency power versions and microwave sensor versions, at LightFair. ” Perti added, “MPLRs are perfect for flush mounts, ceiling fans, sconces, floor lamps and more.”

The entire MPLR family of LED engines will be demonstrated at Overdrive’s LightFair International Booth # 457.
