RT Plus mobile-enabled RFID guestroom electronic door lock has BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) technology integrated in its reader and can retrofit magstripe or mechanical locks. The RT Plus lock is a sealed unit that does not require the ongoing maintenance associated with magstripe locks. RT Plus also features NFC programming for simplified lock auditing, and reliability. Its batteries last up to three years and issue a message when it is time to change them. Existing dormakaba 760 and 770 magstripe locks can be upgraded to RTP by simply changing the outside housing. May also be networked with dormakaba’s Ambiance access management software.
