Product Release: Infinova High Resolution, Full 360 Degree Field-of-View Cameras
MONMOUTH JUNCTION, NJ –Infinova has announced that its new Infinova V17XX Series 5- and 10- megapixel cameras use a single multi-megapixel sensor coupled with high resolution optics to display crisp 360 degree images with no blind spots and no moving parts. With the “powered by Sentry360” cameras, users can see, record and playback a full 360 degree field-of-view, ensuring that all activities are recorded anywhere in the scene at all times. As a result, the cameras are perfectly suited for large environments with heavy traffic areas in which they drastically reduce camera counts, labor costs, maintenance and investigative time.
“With traditional cameras, users can only record those images at which the cameras are pointed, zoomed or focused,” explains Nathan Needel, Infinova vice president sales, North America. “These 5 and 10 megapixel cameras handle multiple dewarped or corrected perspective angles from their omni-direction vantage points. Six of the V17XX Series can cover the same area as 30 traditional cameras.”
The V17XX cameras deliver professional grade H.264 and MJPEG video with superior image quality and performance. Because they feature dual codecs, users can simultaneously output multiple video streams at high resolution. The cameras are fully-featured and include ONVIF open standards protocol, day/night IR models and camera side video motion detection.
