Product Release: GAF EverGuard Freedom TPO
WAYNE, NJ — GAF, North America’s largest roofing manufacturer, has announced a relaunch of its EverGuard® Freedom™ TPO with RapidSeam™ Technology, highlighting improved adhesion.
In addition to its improved performance, EverGuard® Freedom™ TPO with RapidSeam™ is over 50 times faster to install than conventional taped seams, up to 5 times faster than water-based adhesives, and up to 3 times faster than solvent-based adhesives (depending on outside temperature). Use of this membrane also eliminates over 95% of field seam preparation, saving contractors’ time.
“Freedom™ TPO with RapidSeam™ Technology used in conjunction with StormSafe™ Anchor Sheet is a beautiful application that is easy to install,” stated Lynn Picone, senior product manager at GAF. “StormSafe™ Anchor Sheet provides a solid substrate with no gaps or voids, leaving an aesthetically beautiful installation with great adhesion – and RapidSeam™ Technology virtually eliminates the need for hot-air welding, making installation a breeze.”
