Product Release: Dual-Lite LED Emergency Light

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Dual-Lite, a Hubbell Lighting Inc. brand, is proud to continue to exemplify its role as a leading “Innovator” in the emergency lighting industry with the introduction of its EV LED Series emergency light.   The new patents-pending EV Series utilizes 2 high powered long-life LEDs to produce superior light output with optimized fixture spacing of up to 27’ in the most sustainable and energy efficient emergency lighting solution available in the market today.  Most emergency lights use a minimum of 10 watts to light a given space but the EV Series requires less than 2 watts to power. The elegant, architecturally styled emergency EV Series features a small overall footprint (half the size of contemporary emergency lights), while utilizing an environmentally friendly Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery.
The elegant, architecturally styled emergency EV Series features a small, environmentally friendly Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery that requires only 1 watt of input power and reduces the overall footprint by half of contemporary emergency lights.
indeximg2.jpgFeaturing a cutting-edge design that is centered on the LEDs, the EV Series offers the latest in electronic technology for LED thermal maintenance and driver technology. The patents-pending design incorporates the use of high energy density NiMH battery technology that is most often seen in the use of hybrid automobiles and other applications.  By combining the NiMH batteries with low wattage LEDs, the EV Series implements a state-of-the-art design that reduces the amount of input power required to maintain a full battery charge, while providing a superior performing, maintenance freeemergency lighting solution.

Measuring only 8.5“ wide by 5“ high with a depth of 2.75“, the EV Series is designed for fast wall mount installation and reliable service in a compact architectural emergency lighting unit ideal for retrofit or new construction. The high power LEDs are mounted inside a die-cast housing which utilizes precision components to offer adjustability and thermal stability and deliver superior light output with uniform bright LED light with no irregular light patterns or hot-spots for a full 90 minutes of emergency lighting.  The EV Series accepts 120/277VAC input at 60 Hz and optional 220-240VAC input at 60 Hz with a self-diagnostics option and includes a micro-controlled pulse charger, optional LED remote, wire guard, and a vandal resistant shield in the most compact, low profile emergency lighting unit on the market.
