Product Release: Bentley Prince Street California Biennial Collection
CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. – Bentley Prince Street, Inc., an industry leader in commercial carpet design, quality and sustainability, introduces the California Biennial Collection featuring the company’s proprietary Chromasynthesis Dye Technology. Available in broadloom, carpet tile and area rugs, California Biennial interprets Los Angeles’ contemporary museum scene into a modern day flooring solution. In addition to maximizing color availability for lower minimums, this dye technology offers two space dyed yarn options exclusive to Bentley Prince Street that add lustrous bursts of khaki and blue/green colors. California Biennial adds glimmer and depth to any design and exhibits beautifully in the following environments: corporate, government, healthcare, higher education, hospitality and retail.
“California Biennial is a beautiful product that commands attention,” says Anthony Minite, president of Bentley Prince Street. “Just like L.A.’s energetic museum scene, it is artistic and modern while delivering color creativity, as well as flexibility to our customers.”
California Biennial is a product that is beautiful in form, but also practical in function. It is constructed from Ultron® Color cf nylon 6,6 by Ascend for superior resistance to crushing, matting, soil penetration and wear. Protekt® stain protection is combined with Intersept® antimicrobial treatment to assure the product’s long-term performance and resistance to mold and mildew following installation. California Biennial comes standard with High Performance PC™ broadloom backing and NexStep® cushion tile for better stability.
“California Biennial’s standout feature is yarn that is so special because of all the hard work we have put into custom coloring it,” says Valerie Ottaviano, vice president of design. “This product is a true example of chemistry sparking creativity and our customers will love coordinating it with our other popular products like Hollywood Sequel™.”
Bentley Prince Street takes a holistic approach to sustainability. All products contain an average of 10% post-consumer recycled content by total product weight and are certified to the NSF-140 2009 Sustainability Assessment for Carpet at the Platinum level when installed with High PerformancePC backing and at the Gold level when installed with NexStep Cushion Tile backing. The company manufactures in a LEED-EB® Silver certified building and is moving toward its Mission Zero® promise of eliminating any negative impact that it may have on the environment by the year 2020 with sustainability programs that include Cool Carpet™ and ReEntry® 2.0.
