Planon: Company Presents Awards at 2015 North America User Conference

Baltimore, Md. — Sept. 30, 2015 — Planon, the global leader in Integrated Workplace Management Systems, presented its Innovative Practices Award and its Universe Award at the company’s recent annual user conference to two companies that have innovative solutions in their integration of Planon Universe.

The Innovative Practices Award was presented to Butch Adams and the systems operations team at Digital Realty for their unique Planon learning programs and innovative use of IWMS software. For example, Digital Reality, the world's largest wholesale colocation services and data center solutions provider, with more than 130 secure locations globally, is currently using the lease module in Planon to lease out rackspace instead of physical office space.

The 2015 Universe Award was presented to Brian Dean and the facilities management team at T. Rowe Price for the company’s full adoption and embodiment of Planon Universe. T. Rowe Price, a global investment management firm, currently uses the IWMS suite of Planon Universe and continues to implement and test new solutions.

“Planon is dedicated to constantly creating new solutions to benefit our clients,” said Fred Guelen, CFO and president of North America. “We then share those best practices throughout our user base so that others can enjoy the shared, and ever-expanding, knowledge base.”

Selection for this year’s awards was based on the client’s facilities management processes as well as their unique approach for implementation and integration.
