Penn. State Rep. Matthew Dowling Visits CCM Polyisocyanurate Manufacturing Facility

Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM) hosted Pennsylvania State Representative Matthew Dowling and a team from his office on August 30, 2017, for a tour of its Smithfield, Pennsylvania, Polyisocyanurate (Polyiso) insulation manufacturing facility. Representative Dowling and his team observed the facility’s production of Polyiso insulation and met with several of the company’s employees.

CCM invited these legislative officials as part of an ongoing effort to raise legislators’ awareness of the benefits that manufacturers bring to their communities and to discuss the challenges now facing America’s manufacturing sector.

“As a Pennsylvania-based manufacturing company, we were privileged to host Representative Dowling and his team. We are eager to discuss ways in which we can work together to create and sustain good-paying jobs for Pennsylvanians and support the growth of the manufacturing industry,” says Mike DuCharme, CCM’s Vice President of Marketing.

“Our visit allowed me the opportunity to view the process taking place in Smithfield, but more importantly it facilitated a conversation about improvements that can be made for manufacturers in the Commonwealth. I am happy CCM chose to invest in our community over the last decade, and am encouraged by their potential for growth,” said Representative Dowling.
