NexRev Announces DrivePak Advanced Rooftop Control

Plano, Texas — Nov. 24, 2014 — NexRev Inc., a leading manufacturer of performance-improving energy efficiency upgrades for HVAC equipment, announced the availability of DrivePak Advanced Rooftop Control (ARC). It is an expanded model of the company’s DrivePak HVAC retrofit upgrade incorporating advanced controls that allow customers to further capitalize the savings from DrivePak as well as additional prescriptive energy rebates and incentives.

By incorporating integrated economizer control and CO2 Demand Control Ventilation (DCV) with its widely popular DrivePak load-matching fan speed control, DrivePak ARC further optimizes energy savings and indoor air quality.

Built-in Fault Detection further addresses a common problem related to failed or non-functioning economizer equipment, providing notification of abnormal behavior or malfunctioning equipment. Older units become more efficient and can be updated to meet standards set for new rooftop unit equipment.

“Energy rebates and incentives vary from state to state, and by engineering and manufacturing products that meet and exceed the most stringent efficiency standards, NexRev can best serve our nationwide retail, commercial, industrial, and municipal customer base,” said Kenneth Smith, NexRev CEO.

“NexRev is continually innovating new products and solutions that enable our customers to achieve exceptional energy efficiency levels. The advanced controls that make up DrivePak ARC facilitate greater energy savings while improving rebate and incentive options.”

DrivePak ARC is the newest addition to NexRev’s DrivePak family of upgrades for existing equipment using Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) technology. It joins the DrivePak APPLIED product release earlier this year which expands the product application to include chilled/hot water HVAC systems.

NexRev Inc., a privately held company based in Plano, Texas, manufactures and services products and programs that reduce energy usage and optimize efficiency for multisite national and regional facilities.

The company has partnered for 20 years with major retailers, entertainment venues, data centers, banks, telecommunication hubs, power plants, restaurants, government, and military installations.
