New FM Credential Set to Debut

The ProFM Credential Program, the global standard for facility professionals, is now available for pre- release for facility professionals worldwide. This all-in- one solution provides today’s facility professionals with everything they need to broaden their FM knowledge and skills, prove their competency and become one of the first to earn the new ProFM credential.

Based on input from some of the top names in facility management, as well as more than 3,300 facility professionals worldwide, ProFM’s extensive body of knowledge covers 19 functional knowledge areas and five cross-functional competencies to ensure facility professionals of all backgrounds and experience levels can fill in any gaps in knowledge or skills they need to succeed as an FM of the future.

During the ProFM pre-release period through March 2, users can save US$100 on the ProFM Credential Program. The program will launch officially in March 2018.

“We truly believe ProFM will transform the facility management profession, and help create a new global standard to connect FMs worldwide,” says David Brady, president and CEO of Silver Loc Associates and ProFMI Commission member. “We’re one step closer to releasing the ProFM Credential Program to the market and look forward to hearing directly from FMs about how the program helped to fill in their knowledge gaps, advance their careers, and optimize their buildings to meet the needs of the people within them.”
