Mitsubishi Electric Power Products: Company's Service Agreements Offer Value

Oct. 9, 2015 — Facility managers will get important benefits from uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) service agreements with Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc., or its authorized service providers (ASPs), according to Christy Lowe, Southeast regional sales manager for the company's uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) division.

Technicians working for the company or its ASPs complete an in-depth training program and must pass an exam to demonstrate their knowledge. “They’re the best of the best for preventive maintenance,” Lowe says.

What’s more, Mitsubishi and ASP UPS service technicians have faster access to Mitsubishi spare parts than other service providers, and the cost of those spare parts is lower, Lowe says.

Mitsubishi and its ASPs offer a range of UPS services, including:

• startup/installation

• periodic maintenance and warranty

• UPS training

• thermographic imaging

• factory and onsite testing

• emergency services

• load bank testing

Three levels of service agreement are offered:

Bronze: provides one maintenance visit on the UPS module and two visits on the battery system during normal business hours.

Silver: provides the benefits of Bronze plus remedial service (repair, service, parts and labor) during normal work hours.

Gold: provides the benefits of Silver plus remedial service (including all parts and labor) 7x24x365.

Replacement batteries and labor are not included under any of the service agreements, but are available at an additional charge. For more information, visit www.meppi.com.
