Metal Construction Association: Organization Welcomes 4 New Member Companies
Chicago — April 4, 2016 — The Metal Construction Association (MCA) welcomes four new member companies. California Panel Systems, CEI Composite Materials, Duro-Last Roofing and Mill Steel have joined the association’s ranks of more than 75 member companies with specialties in the metal construction industry. Here's a brief look at each:
• Based in El Cajon, Calif., California Panel Systems is a metal panel manufacturer and distributor in Southern California. Its vice president, Scott Hollingsworth, said, "We joined MCA for two primary reasons: to learn from industry leaders what new techniques and technologies lie ahead, and to network and share industry challenges and solutions with top-tier companies in our field."
• CEI Composite Materials, of Manchester, Mich., is a full-service provider of architectural metal panel systems and components for the commercial construction industry.
• Duro-Last Roofing is a manufacturer of custom prefabricated, thermoplastic single-ply roofing systems. The company’s headquarters are in Saginaw Mich., with additional manufacturing facilities in Texas, Oregon, Mississippi, and Iowa.
• Mill Steel is a supplier of flat-rolled steel. Headquartered in Grand Rapids, Mich., the company serves these industries: automotive and non-automotive, transport, appliance, office furniture, commercial construction, HVAC, home goods, and agriculture.
MCA member companies benefit from participation in association activities that focus on research, codes and standards, market development, and technical programs. The association works to increase the use of metal materials in construction by educating the building and design communities about the benefits of metal.
MCA members represent a broad scope of companies including metal roof, wall panel, shingles and coatings manufacturers, coil coaters and metal producers, distributors, equipment and accessories manufacturers, energy insulation system manufacturers, and MCM fabricators. Membership information kits for each industry segment are available at www.metalconstruction.org.
