Mestex: HVAC Company Achieves ISO Certification

Dallas, Texas — June 8, 2016 — Mestex, an HVAC manufacturer for industrial and other commercial applications, announced that it has achieved International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14001-2015 certification for environmental management systems.

ISO 14001-2015  certification requires an organization to demonstrate that its systems meet the very latest in global best practices for environmental management. To attain the ISO 14001-2015 certification, an organization must exhibit its commitment to sustainability and the environment by applying a management system that allows for continual improvement and the ability to conform to customer, statutory, and regulatory environmental requirements.

“Our ISO 14001 certification illustrates to customers, prospects, and employees the commitment to excellence and sustainability that Mestex embodies," said Mike Kaler, president, Mestex. "This ISO certification ensures that Mestex provides high-quality, mission-critical HVAC systems that meet the unique needs of each of the industries we serve while keeping our environmental responsibilities firmly in mind.

“To Mestex, this certification provides a visible and constant reminder, internally and externally, of the importance of operating in a manner that recognizes our social responsibility to minimize our environmental footprint."

Mestex is a division of Mestek, Inc., a group of HVAC manufacturers with a focus on air handling and innovation. Mestex is the only HVAC manufacturer offering industry-standard direct digital controls on virtually all of its products, which include Applied Air, Alton, Aztec, Temprite, and LJ Wing HVAC systems.
