Regal Beloit Corporation, a manufacturer of electric motors, electrical motion controls, power generation and power transmission components, announced that the NovaMAX EC Permanent Magnet Motor has been named a finalist in Consulting-Specifying Engineer’s 2018 Product of the Year program. The NovaMAX motor joins two other finalist products in the drives, pumps and motors category.
The NovaMAX motor’s innovative conical rotor/stator geometry produces a new class of electric motors that provide reliable performance without driving up costs. Improved energy efficiency, greater power density and cooler operation combined with conformance with NEMA standard dimensions allow end users, owners, contractors, OEMs and others to see rapid payback and satisfaction.

Consulting-Specifying Engineer’s Product of the Year contest is the premier award for new products in the HVAC, fire/life safety, electrical and plumbing systems engineering fields. The annual, reader-choice program was created to provide readers with information about top products in their respective fields. Voting is open now and closes June 29, 2018.
