LonMark® International, a non-profit international association recognized for the certification, education and promotion of interoperability standards for control networking, today announced the winners of its “Best of the Year” awards for 2016. LonMark certified products, people and companies have been the basis for thousands of open, interoperable systems across the globe. These annual awards reflect the vision and innovation shared among the members of the LonMark community.
Categories and winners for 2016 include:
Multi-Vendor Project of the Year (Large): ISDE ‘s standard-based lighting control system and energy management was used to upgrade 35 Buildings across three University of Alcala campuses in Madrid, Spain. For more information please click
here. Multi-Vendor Project of the Year (Small-repeatable): Flashnet’s inteliLIGHT® street lighting remote management solution is being recognized for the Dubai Water Canal project. Certified Product of the Year: OSRAM’s SLC Luminaire Controller is an integrated control and monitoring device for outdoor lighting applications, such as street, parking, park or tunnel lighting. The luminaire is recognized for utilizing the LonWorks® communication standard over power lines (Power Line Communication, PLC). For more information please click
here.Visionary of the Year: Earl Gray, Honeywell in recognition of his leadership and commitment. Earl has served on the LonMark Board of directors for over 12 years and has contributed to the success of the organization in countless ways. As an integrator initially, and subsequently as a vendor, Earl has provided the organization with leadership, initiative, and ongoing support. We are proud to acknowledge his many years of service and support.
