Locks Designed for Severe Weather
ASSA ABLOY has introduced the Sargent FM7300 Series and Corbin Russwin FE6600 Series. These tornado-compliant, multi-point locks are engineered to withstand severe wind speeds and flying debris. These locks can be deployed to protect community shelters, safe rooms, corporate and educational facilities, healthcare and government campuses, 911 call stations, emergency operation centers, fire and rescue, police stations, and other public and first-responder facilities. The FM7300 Series and FE6600 Series are also ideal solutions to enhance security in traditional applications.
The FM7300 Series and FE6600 Series deliver worry-free operation while providing safety and security during the most severe storms. Both utilize robust mortise locks and concealed vertical rods and are available with both standard and decorative levers, as well as a broad range of electronic access control technologies.
“Available in multiple function and trim combinations, the Sargent FM7300 Series and Corbin Russwin FE6600 Series locks offer the flexibility needed to accommodate a full range of door opening solutions, including electronic access control,” says Chris Gaughan, director of product management with ASSA ABLOY. “Plus, the unique center-case adjustability feature simplifies installation and device adjustment while providing the strength and durability needed for critical applications.”
The FM7300 Series and FE600 Series offer an optional indicator with a hold-back feature that allows for standard mortise lock operation throughout the day. This increases the device longevity while allowing a quick release to engage multi-point latching for emergency situations.
Included with a seven-year warranty, the Sargent FM7300 Series and the Corbin Russwin FE6600 Series meet the following certifications and compliances: ICC500-2014, ANSI/BHMA 156.37, FEMA 320, FEMA 361, 3-hour UL-10C fire listing.
