Litetronics’ LED Smart Volumetric Troffer

Litetronics has introduced a new LED Smart Volumetric Troffer, a powerful fixture that offers a desirable new level of convenience and control to a broad range of drop/grid ceilings within the nation’s schools and universities, office settings, and healthcare facilities.

Equipped with an on-board sensor that supports both motion sensing and daylight harvesting, Litetronics’new LED Smart Volumetric Troffer automatically adjusts light levels based on either occupancy levels and/or the availability of natural lighting to capitalize on energy-saving opportunities as well as the documented health benefits of daylight.

The fixture also seamlessly leverages the power of wireless Bluetooth technology to enable users to fully customize their lighting to the unique needs of their space. Specifically, via the use of a wall-mounted switch or Litetronics’ new companion mobile app (LiteSmart), LED Smart Volumetric Troffer fixtures within a space can be easily grouped into zones and turned on/off, dimmed, and programmed to operate at specified times based on the users’ schedule; with the push of a button, the system can also instantly engage in scene-setting (such as ‘presentation’ or ‘video’ mode, etc.) based on occupant needs. Each network can support up to 100 fixtures and each network can support the creation of up to 127 scenes.

Litetronics’ new LED Smart Volumetric Troffer is available in 30-Watt 2 X 2 and 50-Watt 2 X 4 versions and 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K color temperatures. Thanks to its built-in daylight harvesting, occupancy sensing, and 0-10V dimming capabilities as well as its high 125 lumen-per-watt efficacy, the fixture is DLC Premium-rated, enhancing its eligibility for utility rebate incentives nationwide.
