Lighting Solution Development: Company Partners with Anthem Federal To Provide Federal Contracts Acquisition Program
July 6, 2015 — Lighting Solution Development has partnered with Anthem Federal to now provide all facets of federal procurement and government contracts acquisition to LED lighting manufacturers.
For the next 10-plus years, the DOD, DOE, GovEnergy, and many of the military contracting divisions will spend well over $1.2 billion on retrofitting U.S. base facilities, both inside and outside the continental U.S., with LED lighting and energy contracts.
LED lighting manufacturers that have not yet focused on federal programs should consider this an ideal time to develop their federal contracting business model.
“With LED lighting retrofits becoming more prevalent in the federal business opportunities websites (www.fbo.gov and www.neco.navy.mil), many contracting divisions are now seeking both small and large LED lighting manufacturers that have developed strategic teaming alignments where the LED manufacturer and installation contractor complement each other's core capabilities,” said Marc Pacino, CEO of Anthem Federal.
Lighting Solution Development specializes in providing technical and marketing solutions to advanced lighting manufacturers. “Together, we partner with our clients to build integrated strategies to grow a manufacturer’s federal contracts business. It is a powerful advantage to have the deep expertise of a former military contracting officer to build your federal contracts business,” said David Shiller, president of Lighting Solution Development.
This partnership will provide lighting manufacturers with an array of federal contracts acquisition services, including business development, contract claims, program development and management, bid protests, and teaming alliances.
“Anthem Federal brings over 30 years of experience winning federal contracts, and they have facilitated the acquisition of over $850 million in awarded contracts. LED lighting manufacturers with U.S. ownership and that can comply with the U.S. Buy American Act are qualified,” Shiller added.
