Legrand Launches Integrated Cable Management

InteGreat™ solutions bring something new to the table

WEST HARTFORD, Conn.  – Legrand has introduced  a family of Wiremold® products that make meeting rooms more efficient. InteGreat™ Series products have built-in flexible cable management and are designed to Integrate with each other and with the building infrastructure as a single system to manage cabling over the “last meter” to the work surface.

According to Product Manager Jeff McDermott, people who install, manage and maintain meeting room spaces stressed the need for  integration.  “The InteGreat Series is not a collection of products; it is designed to fit and work together. That’s because collaborative areas must fully integrate technology in order to be effective and make employees more productive,” he said.

InteGreat Series Transition Channel is a flexible, integrated pathway that manages power, communications and AV from the building infrastructure to the underside of the work surface, where it keeps wires and cables organized and out of people’s way.  It also enhances aesthetics by keeping cords out of sight. It works in tandem with a variety of Wiremold pathway solutions such as the OFR Series Overfloor Raceway System and fire-classified poke-thru devices.

InteGreat Series Cable Management attaches to the underside of the work surface to organize and protect power cords and the network, communications and audio/video cables. Not only does it manage and protect cables, it enhances aesthetics by keeping cords and cables out of sight. Used with the InteGreat Transition Channel, it creates a single, secure pathway for all wires and cables.

InteGreat Series A/V Table Box extends power, communication, and AV to the meeting presenter’s point of use. It is a compact, unobtrusive way to transform meeting rooms into well-connected spaces that eliminate distracting cords and cables and allow users to focus on conducting business. This box accepts up to five installed AV connectors and includes two 15 amp receptacles in the top compartment and one 15 amp receptacle on the underside of the box.  Starting in December the box will include cable retractors holding up to 5' of retractable Cat 6, HDMI, VGA, and 3.5 mm audio cable. They latch onto the side of the table box, and keep the cables neat and stored once they are not in use, as this video demonstrates.
