Larson Electronics announced the release of a waterproof and vapor proof hand lamp/drop light. This inspection drop light comes in red, blue, green, amber, and white light outputs and is made to prevent the intrusion of water and moisture into the handle and head when in use. This 10-watt unit produces 1,050 lumens of colored lighting and features 150 feet of SOOW cord.
The VPLHL-LEDC-150 LED handheld inspection lamp is vapor proof and waterproof and runs at operating temperatures of 55˚F. This 10-watt LED drop light features a rubberized and insulated handle to provide a safe grip, and a stainless-steel wire guard enclosure to protect the LED lamps. The lamp has no ballast and features a stainless-steel hook for easy overhead mounting.
Larson Electronics’ LED drop light are capable of operating on current ranging from 100 to 277V AC without modifications. A low voltage 11-25V AC/DC option for low voltage applications is also available. This unit comes equipped with 150 feet of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord fitted with an industrial grade cord cap. Suitable applications include industrial settings, manufacturing, automotive use, and more.
