Ladder Accessories Enhance Safety

Werner, a manufacturer of professional and consumer ladders, expands its family of Podium Ladders and Accessories with the launch of the AC63 Podium Gate. This new accessory is designed to fit any Werner Podium Ladder, delivering 360 degrees of contact when standing on the top platform.

The gate easily swings open when ascending and descending the ladder. It fully surrounds the user and locks closed when standing on the top platform step keeping the user inside the ladder footprint. When not in use, the entire gate folds up for easy storage.

“In manufacturing products for professional contractors, we always keep productivity and safety at the forefront of the design process,” says Brent Sedlacek, director of product management at WernerCo. “As a result, we’ve continued to expand our popular family of Podium Ladders, which were designed to increase the work zone allowing users to face any direction on a platform ladder. To add to the functionality of these ladders, we’re excited to introduce the new Podium Gate accessory which delivers increased security for contractors who rely on our Podium Ladders to get their jobs done.”

The Podium is an innovative style of ladder that is ideal for working at fixed heights and easier to maneuver than scaffolds or lifts. The extra-large platform allows the user to feel like they are standing on the ground, with an increased work zone that encourages facing any direction. The easy to install Podium Gate is the latest addition to Werner’s comprehensive offering of Podium Ladders and Accessories.

  • The AC63 Podium Gate features include:
  • Easy installation on all Werner Podium Ladders
  • Fully surrounds the user for extra safety and protection
  • Neatly collapses for easy access and storage
  • Latch keeps the user securely inside the ladder footprint
  • Lightweight design
