Increased Water Heater Capacity and Improved Energy Efficiency

The CHP-120 water heater from A.O. Smith is designed for light commercial applications, such as restaurants, schools, retail buildings, or any facility that traditionally uses a standard commercial electric water heater. It has the highest efficiency and 50 percent more storage capacity than other commercial integrated heat pump water heaters. Built with facility managers in mind, the integrated design and front- mounted components allow for improved installation and maintenance. With a 4.2 coefficient of performance, the high-efficiency heat pump can save up to $3,500 in annual energy costs compared to a standard electric commercial water heater. This results in an average payback on investment in two years or less.
