IMT and COSE: New Infographic Shows Value of Green Leasing Language

Aug. 6, 2015 — IMT and the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE) are currently working together in Cleveland to help commercial buildings save money and energy by connecting landlords and tenants around energy efficiency — particularly when it comes to the lease.

As part of this effort, IMT and COSE collaborated with Cleveland marketing studio Kiwi Creative to develop a new infographic that shows the transformation of an average building into a high-performing one through the use of green leasing language.

The infographic highlights some key examples of energy-saving clauses that are typically included in a green lease, including: regularly commissioning building systems, installing advanced lighting controls and motion sensors, submetering spaces, and training asset and leasing managers about green building benefits.
