Hubbell Building Automation Gives You Maximum Control Over Energy Savings With New wiHubb Access Point 2.0

Greenville, SC –  Hubbell Lighting, a world leader in lighting innovation, has announced its latest user-friendly, web-based device for commissioning and managing lighting controls within the wiHUBB® wireless mesh network– Hubbell Building Automation’s wiHUBB® Access Point 2.0 (WIH-AP2).

The concept is simple: turn lights off; save energy. The problem is relying on others to switch unused lights off. With the new wiHUBB® Access Point 2.0, control is in your hands.

The intuitive and easy to use Graphical User Interface (GUI) provides building owners and facility managers the ability to schedule and control individual wiHUBB® enabled devices or groups of devices. The wiHUBB® Access Point 2.0’s integrated web server also does not require any special client-side PC software and provides access to the wiHUBB® network using any standard web browser. The new wiHUBB® Access Point 2.0 has significantly higher processor speeds and delivers overall performance improvements for larger wiHUBB® applications that include 100 or more devices.

The wiHUBB® Access Point 2.0 provides On/Off and dimming controls and gives you the ability to view the power consumption of every device. Utilizing a robust and reliable 900Mhz wireless self-organizing and self-healing mesh network, the wiHUBB® Access Point 2.0 is FCC certified and comes equipped with a five-year limited warranty.

The original wiHUBB® Access Point (WIH-AP) will continue to be available at a lower cost point for smaller wiHUBB® applications.
