The new CFS-CC Firestop Cable Collar from Hilti provides a surface-mounted, sealant-free firestop solution for common cable applications through floor and wall assemblies. Easily firestop problematic, irregularly shaped openings, without the need to cut or chisel around existing cables. The Cable Collar easily covers maximum. 4” diameter openings that are 100% filled with cables. Installation of the Cable Collar is virtually dust free and provides a very clean result.
This sealant and putty free solution is great for pre-existing or new cable bundles and does not require any surface preparation; this allows for a faster, cleaner, more accurate installation. The cable collar’s innovative top side floor solution eliminates the need for mineral wood, sealant or putty, and the use of a ladder for overhead work.
The Hilti CFS-CC Firestop Cable Collar is made of a pre-formed, pre-cured material that can be re-penetrated for future cable capacity.
The cable collar simplifies renovations/retrofits as well as new construction. And, when it comes time for inspection, building inspectors will find these devices easy to identify and approve.
