GeoStar Introduces Aston Compact And Arbor Base; Announces Upgrades To GeoStar Arbor

Fort Wayne, IN – GeoStar introduces two new commercial water source units to its product line – the Aston Compact and the Arbor Base – and announces upgrades to the GeoStar Arbor.

The GeoStar Aston Compact offers industry-leading efficiencies (3.7-4.8 COP and 18.0-30.0 EER) in a very compact cabinet. Available in capacities from 0.75 to 6 tons, the unit features the Aurora generation of communicating controls and a variety of options, including a factory-installed 24V motorized on/off water valve option for variable frequency drive (VFD) pumping with automatic internal water flow control; hot gas bypass and reheat; and high-efficiency PSC, 5-speed ECM or variable speed ECM blower motors.

The GeoStar Arbor Base is a true value product and combines a compact design, high-efficiency operation (3.3-3.5 COP and 15.6-17.0 EER) and number of value-added features in a 0.5-6-ton unit. Like the Aston Compact, the Arbor Base uses environmentally friendly R410A refrigerant and exceeds ASHRAE 0.1 efficiencies. Both units are perfect for retrofit and boiler/tower applications.

Upgrades to the GeoStar Arbor Series include the addition of Aurora communicating controls and a 5-speed ECM blower motor option. This newest option joins the high-efficiency PSC and variable speed ECM options previously available to customers.
