GNP Company Selects American Time’s Wireless Time Technology

American Time, a market leader in synchronized time technology, announced today that GNP Company has selected its SiteSync IQ wireless timekeeping system. GNP Company is a provider of premium branded and custom chicken products – most notably Gold’n Plump and Just BARE Chicken – to retail, deli and foodservice customers.

With American Time’s SiteSync IQ wireless system, GNP Company will leverage a 25-watt master clock to control LED digital clocks and analog wireless clocks throughout its food processing campus. With the easy-to-read clocks viewable from every work station, plant workers can more easily and accurately log times during receiving, processing, finishing, placement in the coolers and finally shipping. To protect those clocks in the vicinity of cleaning rinses and spray-down processes, GNP Company chose American Time clear cover guards.

“We were using analog, free-running clocks that were not always reliable or easy to see,” said Greg Aubert, Director of Plant Operations for GNP Company. “This investment in precision time, from the foremost leader in synchronized systems, is an essential component of a highly efficient operation.”

“We’re thrilled to provide a national leader like GNP Company with the time technology it needs to meet its requirements and ensure efficient operations,” said George Wilkes, president of American Time. “Our range of synchronized time systems gave GNP Company options from which it could select the best fit and performance for its needs.”

Upon installation, the digital and analog clocks are recognized and synched by the master clock. All clocks will also automatically update for daylight saving time twice per year, further saving GNP Company maintenance time and cost.
