Faithful+Gould: Firm to Perform Facility Condition Assessment for Fulton County, Georgia
New York City — May 3, 2016 — Faithful+Gould announced that its Strategic Facility Consulting (SFC) team has been commissioned by the Fulton County General Services and Public Works Department to perform a county-wide Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) for Fulton County, Georgia.
Receiving about 855 work orders each month for its buildings, most of which are public buildings that serve the community, county officials recognized that there are several issues in the facilities throughout Fulton County. To ensure that the facilities are able to meet residents’ needs and also use tax dollars efficiently, officials sought an outside consultant to perform an FCA in order to fix the building issues and prioritize maintenance.
Faithful+Gould has been selected to perform work throughout the county, which includes assessments for a total of 110 major buildings, totaling 3.6 million square feet. The work will be performed in two phases. The first, scheduled to finish in February 2017, includes county libraries, fire stations, senior and multi-purpose centers, and courts. The second will complete at the end of April 2017 and include the government center, arts centers, and gymnasiums.
The project is currently underway and the SFC team has already completed assessments on more than 80 buildings, totaling more than 2.8 million square feet.
Faithful+Gould is a global integrated project and program management consultancy, with 60 offices worldwide. It is a part of Atkins.
