F.W. Webb: Company Continues Expansion into New Jersey

Bedford, Mass. — June 27, 2016 — Marking its 150th anniversary this year, the F.W. Webb Co., the largest distributor of its kind in the Northeast, has opened a fourth location in New Jersey. With the acquisition of Lincoln Supply in Trenton, F.W. Webb is now serving customers in Bucks County, N.J., and eastern Pennsylvania, including the greater Philly area.

With a complete line of industrial PVF and supporting products and services, the new F.W. Webb location in Trenton will remain a one-stop wholesale resource for the area’s industrial and institutional professionals and commercial and mechanical contractors.

Staffed with retained Lincoln Supply associates and current F.W. Webb employees, the Trenton location will continue offering counter service, pipe fabrication, and assistance with the government procurement process.

“F.W. Webb has received a warm welcome in New Jersey, starting in 2013 when we acquired Bergen Industrial in Elmwood Park,” said F.W. Webb President Jeff Pope. “Our continued expansion into the state presents exciting opwebb

portunities to meet customer needs, retain and hire local employees, and invest in new communities.”

Larry Thiel, president, Lincoln Supply, said that like his company, "F.W. Webb is a third-generation, family-owned business with a long history as a distributor of quality products and services for industrial and commercial customers. My family and I have total confidence in F.W. Webb’s ability to serve our customers with the same commitment to quality and service upon which Lincoln Supply built its nearly 85-year reputation.”

The Trenton facility, at 92 Lincoln Ave., is F.W. Webb’s fourth in New Jersey. The Elmwood Park location is also an industrial products wholesaler. F.W. Webb’s two other New Jersey locations, in North Brunswick and Pleasantville, serve residential and commercial contractors; these two locations were acquired one year ago through the purchase of Grant Supply.

F.W. Webb is rebranding all its New Jersey locations (Lincoln Supply, Bergen, and Grant Supply) as F.W. Webb locations.

The company has a long heritage of serving the construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair needs of residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional customers. Founded in 1866 as the second plumbing supply house in Boston, F.W. Webb has grown from a single location to more than 80 across nine states. The largest distributor of its kind in the Northeast, F.W. Webb has extensive inventory and expertise in 15 distinct areas. Plumbing, heating, HVAC, commercial refrigeration, and PVF are the company’s core businesses. For more information, visit fwwebb.com.
