Aug. 11, 2015 — EnergyLite, a leading manufacturer of LED industrial products and a division of PowerSecure International, announced that its SecureLite LED Area Lighting fixtures have been selected as the lighting product of record by Stanwood Self Storage, a Stanwood, Wash.-based provider of storage units for a broad range of goods.

The SecureLite fixtures are high-performing, energy-efficient replacements for 100-, 150- and 175-watt metal halide and mercury-vapor security lights and street lighting. Since Stanwood replaced several dozen of its 205-watt mercury-vapor lamp-and-ballast systems with 48-watt SecureLite LED fixtures, “the new LEDs give off more light than our mercury-vapor fixtures did and illuminate our facility perfectly, delivering consistent light with a pleasant color temperature,” Starkenburg said.
“In addition, our power consumption dropped by as much as 65 percent and our payback period was just over a year.”
In contrast to Stanwood's previous bulky, outdated lighting, he added, “our compact new SecureLite LED fixtures have a sleek and modern look, which serves as a nice accent to our buildings.”
