Mentor, Ohio – EYE Lighting International, a leading manufacturer of lamps, luminaires, controls and related lighting systems, has announced that the company’s kíaroLED Post Top luminaires have met the DesignLights Consortium (DLC) performance requirements and are now included on the DLC Qualified Products List (QPL.)

The new EYE kíaroLED Post Top luminaires are the latest addition to the kíaroLED family, and the 66th EYE Lighting product to meet DLC requirements.  kíaroLED luminaires offer superior control of backlight, uplight and glare, making them ideal for streets, roadways, walkways, parks, and campus applications.  The stylish design and distribution pattern options give customers and specifiers maximum flexibility.  kíaroLED Post Tops install in minutes on all brands of poles, are compatible with a variety of photocontrols and mesh networks, and typically replace 70W to 250W HID lamps and luminaires.

“We participate in the DOE Lighting Facts Program and DLC to assist our utility and commercial customers in specifying and selecting superior quality, energy-efficient LED luminaires,” said Rob Freitag, vp of marketing for EYE Lighting.  “The reduced costs in both energy use and maintenance result in fast payback, and the availability of rebates and tax incentives make kíaroLED luminaires a very attractive investment.”
