Honeywell, a connected home solutions provider, has announced the introduction of the D6 Pro WiFi Ductless Controller, a simple and intuitive replacement for handheld ductless remote controls. The new controller was designed to help reduce installation time and increase ease of use when managing the temperature. It is easily installed and features a high- contrast display and touch-buttons for a simple and sophisticated feel, giving easy control over comfort.
The Honeywell D6 Pro Wi-Fi Ductless Controller offers a simplified control system that brings the most-utilized features of the ductless system to the forefront using Honeywell’s highly rated LyricTM app. The clear and concise menus offer easy-to-read visualization and gives access to advanced features such as flexible scheduling (7-day, 5-2 day, among others), auto-change over, and the ability to group D6 controllers into systems if they have a multi-zone ductless installation. Using the geofencing option, users can have their comfort automatically managed. The device features customizable temperature and humidity alerts for added peace of mind. Integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant give users the freedom to use their voices to control their home comfort.
For added convenience, the new controller features a proprietary control algorithm that allows the consumer to use the temperature settings they already associate with comfort. Without compromising any of the efficiency of the Ductless Unit, the D6 creates a seamless transition eliminating the need to learn and adjust to a new temperature setting.

The simple installation process can be completed entirely on the device, and eliminates the need for contractors to access the ductless equipment in most installations, no ladders or tools required. All accessories come included in the box, and flexible mounting options mean it can either rest on a table top, or be mounted on a wall. The product is compatible with most major brands and models in the market today.
The Contractor Handoff feature available in the Honeywell Lyric app allows for a simple and fast transfer of the WiFi setup credentials to consumer, if required. The D6 Pro Wi-Fi Ductless Controller has a five-year warranty and fits into the Honeywell Lyric ecosystem, which unlocks additional sales opportunities within the adjacent product line.
