The television program will showcase DSC — one of the most recognized and robust security alarm and home automation brands in the market today. The segment is called “Peace of Mind – What to Consider When Planning Your Home Security System,” and includes a product demonstration of the system and interview with Tim Myers, Tyco's director of product management, intrusion.

“In Designing Spaces, we introduce two new homeowners to their new intrusion system from the DSC brand,” Myers said. “The system provides the homeowners with the ability to protect their property through a monitored alarm system, but also gives them the ability to manage their home systems, such as lighting and HVAC. It also has the capability to transmit video from a surveillance camera located inside or outside the home to a smart phone or tablet.”

As part of the television segment, viewers will learn about the easy-to-use features that protect what matters most, including arming and disarming the system, motion detector sensors and how they work, and the importance of a professionally installed and monitored security system.

The DSC portfolio of security products includes PowerSeries Neo, an innovative solution for residential and scalable commercial installations. It combines the flexibility of a modular, hardwired system with the simplicity of a wide range of wireless devices and peripherals, resulting in the most comprehensive hybrid system available in the market today. PowerSeries Neo also leverages the superior capabilities of PowerG – the security industry’s leading-edge wireless intrusion technology.
