Delta Products: Company Named 2016 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year by EPA
Fremont, Calif. — March 30, 2016 — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recognized Delta Products Corp. with a 2016 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year — Product Brand Owner Award.
In 2016, only 149 winners were chosen from a vast network of 16,000 ENERGY STAR partners. Delta receives this honor in recognition of its Breez ventilation fans, which exemplify the company's commitment to energy efficiency and dedication to creating sustainable and environmentally friendly products without sacrificing performance.
Delta will be recognized at an ENERGY STAR Awards Ceremony in Washington, D.C., on April 13.
"Delta's ENERGY STAR-certified products are helping Americans save money, save energy, and do their part to reduce our nation's greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change," said EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy. "Delta's efforts demonstrate a strong commitment to energy efficiency and to preserving a healthy planet for future generations."
"The Delta Breez has become synonymous with innovation and sustainability," said Rita Carbone-Lawson, national sales manager, Breez Ventilation Products. "We're honored to be recognized for our efforts by our longtime partner, ENERGY STAR."
Thirty-six of the Delta Breez's 37 ventilating models carry ENERGY STAR certification. Some models exceed ENERGY STAR efficiency requirements by more than 350 percent.
Delta's efforts to improve energy efficiency and promote sustainability go beyond product performance to encompass education. As part of this endeavor, the company has implemented training in ENERGY STAR practices for all employees, distributors, and retailers, in addition to incorporating ENERGY STAR messaging within its website and product materials.
Since its inception in 1992, ENERGY STAR and its partners have helped prevent a total of more than 2.4 billion metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions. In 2014 alone, ENERGY STAR and its partners provided more than $11 billion in societal benefits due to reducing damages from climate change.
