Cooper Wiring Devices Introduces Efficient, Adjustable LED/CFL Compatible Dimmer
PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. – Cooper Wiring Devices, a leading electrical wiring device manufacturer for industrial, commercial and residential applications, introduces a new solution for customized lighting control and efficiency with its Adjustable LED/CFL Compatible Dimmer. Boasting improved performance, the newest extension to its dimming product line offers smooth, slide action dimming for a wide range of bulb types.
Designed to provide users with customizable lighting, the device features a slide dimmer actuation that allows light levels and mood to be adjusted with the touch of a finger. The integrated linear slide control offers easy operation for precise light levels and includes a preset feature allowing users to return to previous light settings. To eliminate common problems with dimmable LED and CFL lights such as flickering, humming and slow-start, this innovative product also includes an integrated adjustment wheel for fine-tuning dimmer performance.
“Cooper Wiring Devices is excited to introduce the Adjustable LED/CFL Compatible Dimmer as an extension to our current product line,” said Laura Ulz, President Cooper Wiring Devices. “This device is a great example of our goal to design innovative products that exceed the needs of our customers. Combining the flexibility to work with a variety of light sources with added cost savings, we’ve truly hit a home run with this new product.”
In addition to its high-performance features, the Adjustable LED/CFL Compatible Dimmer also helps increase energy savings. That’s because even small changes, like cutting light levels in half, can increase overall savings by 40 percent. Dimming controls also help extend bulb life by as much as 20 times to allow for future cost savings.
The Adjustable LED/CFL Compatible Dimmer is available in 11 different colors, three different designs and is the ideal solution for a wide range of 120V / 60 Hz applications. The dimmer has been tested for compatibility with more than 100 different light sources, proving its unique ability to function with many different light sources.
