Companies Partner to Deliver Energy and Sustainability Intelligence

Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate services firm, has announced a new partnership with BuildingOS software provider Lucid to further enhance the firm's platform for delivering the next generation of energy and sustainability intelligence. The collaboration, which was introduced at the 2017 CoreNet Global Summit in Seattle, builds on Cushman & Wakefield's commitment to partner with global technology organizations in order to deliver cutting-edge, innovative services that keep clients' facilities running at peak performance.

Lucid's BuildingOS software provides Cushman & Wakefield's building management experts with a central platform to engage and manage energy and sustainability data. BuildingOS makes it easier and faster to transform building operations data into performance improvements through reduced cost and enhanced sustainability performance.

"This collaboration combines Lucid's outstanding technology with Cushman & Wakefield's vast real estate and facilities expertise to improve building efficiency for our clients," says Steven Quick, CEO with Cushman & Wakefield. "With this new platform, we have strengthened our ability to help clients achieve reduced operational costs and enhanced sustainability, in addition to driving occupant satisfaction and productivity."

Using existing building data, BuildingOS is able to unlock immediate value for clients by allowing Cushman & Wakefield professionals to identify operational patterns and outliers. Cushman & Wakefield uses this data to advise clients on ways to reduce their energy consumption and enhance building performance. The BuildingOS software can also be tailored with highly customizable dashboards and reports, allowing Cushman & Wakefield advisors to meet the distinct needs of each client.

"Cushman & Wakefield is excited to add the data centralization, reporting, and analytics capabilities of Lucid's BuildingOS to our energy and sustainability platform. This tool will enhance our professionals' ability to identify opportunities to deliver on our client's unique energy and sustainability goals," says Gary Graham, director of energy management with Cushman & Wakefield.

The Lucid software enables Sustainability, Finance, Operations, and Energy Management teams to communicate and collaborate on building operations and KPIs. Using automated utility bill management and ENERGY STAR reporting, these teams can evaluate the ROI of efficiency efforts and investments in real time.

"This partnership enables Lucid to provide our award-winning data platform and robust energy and sustainability applications to Cushman & Wakefield clients across the globe," says Will Coleman, CEO of Lucid. "Our fast-to-deploy and easy-to-use BuildingOS software combined with the vast real estate expertise of Cushman & Wakefield professionals will deliver cutting-edge analytics and innovative services that transform data into valuable insights and results."
