5" aperture Eco-Downlight LED recognized in the annual award program’s downlighting catgeory
CITY OF INDUSTRY, CALIF. – CSL® (Creative Systems Lighting) is proud to announce that it has received an Architectural SSL Product Innovation Award. This is the award program’s third year and CSL was recognized in the downlighting category for its 5" aperture Eco-Downlight LED -a product that debuted at LIGHTFAIR® International in 2012.
“CSL is honored to be recognized by Architectural SSL and its panel of judges,” said Mark D’Antonio, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for CSL. “As we continue to evolve our LED downlighting pipeline, CSL added a strategic piece to our already vibrant 2” and 3” collections last year with the introduction of the 5” platform. That platform now includes NC, RM and IC versions, all of which set new standards of performance in terms of energy efficiency, light quality, modularity of optics and trims and more.”
The 5” aperture Eco-Downlight LED features: 38 input watts that deliver 2500 lumens; 80, 85 and 90 CRI packages; dimming capabilities with a standard incandescent dimmer (0-10v dimming also available); three color temperatures featuring 4 Step Binning; five interchangeable optics to include a 12-, 25-, 45-, 65- and 85-degree beam spreads; and modularity of square and round trims that mate in the same housing.
The Architectural SSL Product Innovation Awards determine and honor the most innovative LED and solid-state luminaires and fixtures on the market. Judged by a panel of professionals representing lighting design, lighting sales and distribution, lighting manufacturing, architecture and design, and lighting publishing, the PIA awards are open to manufacturers of solid-state fixtures and components worldwide.
